Off to the farm!

Another fantastic day – both with the weathe and with the activity. This morning the temperature was well below freezing and everything was covered in a thick frost. Students had their English lessons as normal before lunch, and then in the afternoon we were dropped off in town. We then caught an old steamship and sailed across Lake Wakatipu to the Walter Peak Farm. There the students had a chance to feed the farm animals, take millions of photos, watch a sheep shearing demonstration and enjoy the fantastic mountain scenery. After that, it was back on the boat for the trip back to Queenstown. On the way back, someone started playing the piano, we were handed songbooks and we all started singing a great medley of songs. We even sang a Chinese song. It was simply amazing and such good fun. This trip just seems to get better each day. And the best thing of all is how good the students have been and how friendly everybody has been. Simply wonderful!
